Mr. Barot is now the Chief Business Development Officer (Asia, ME, Oceania, Caribbean) with more than 18 years of experience in the telecommunication industry, working with Bankai Group, an emerging Telecommunication Technology multinational Group.
Hailing from Mumbai- India, young Mr. Barot kickstarted his career at the age of twenty with a challenge of managing a Startup Travel agency, scaling it up to be one of the best in its kind of industry generating an annual revenue of $40K, later shifting to Telecom Industry as a Carrier Relations Manager where he was responsible for regional sales strategy rapidly evolving himself to Vice President of Global Head for Sales in the year 2014 with a team of 20+ under him generating an annual revenue of $140M+ by the year 2013.
In his role as the Chief Commercial Officer with a team of 60+, generating an annual revenue of $800M+ in 2018, responsible for overall sales strategy maintaining the group's revenue scaling up.
Post 2018, his focus was to develop the business with the Emerged Markets like Africa & Pacific Islands. He excelled the responsibility with grandeur making a remarkable achievement of over 50 new business tie ups in 700 days.
Now taking up the challenge in 2023 as the Chief Business Development Officer For Asia, Middle East, Oceania & Caribbean region, he is working to digitalize the Pacific Islands & help them grow on their connectivity to the rest of the world.
Remarked for his consistent innovative approach in team building, product placement, and consumer relationships. He firmly believes in the approach of "Road Less Taken" for long-term goal achievements and forecasting future market demands and trends.
He is well known for his tactics & business approach in the Telecom field, specifically in Voice/Top Up and A2P SMS Communications.
In the last few years great impetus was put in growing markets of Africa, CIS, Asia Pacific to promote Digitalization, promoting mobile money solutions, enabling Telcos to choose the right solution & service for
