Alfred Ng is a Singapore-based Partner at Ashurst who specialises in advising on infrastructure and energy transactions including in the digital economy and power sectors (with a focus on renewables). He has over 18 years’ experience on such transactions, including acting for developers, tech companies, private equity funds, governments and financial institutions.

Alfred advised lenders on the project financing of the PURE data centre in Indonesia, the first data centre to be project financed in Indonesia, and he is currently advising on two more data centre financings in the region (in India and Vietnam), and has recently advised on a number of PPAs for the procurement of renewable energy for a number of data centres in different parts of Asia including in Singapore.

A recognized lawyer by Chambers, IFLR1000, and Law 360, Alfred speaks frequently on data centres, including at the PFI Financing Energy Projects in Asia Conference 2023.
