Amajit Gupta is a seasoned industry leader with over three decades of experience in IT and telecom. In 2020, he started and built Lightstorm to accelerate digital growth in APAC, pioneering SmartNet, a utility-grade fiber network for enterprises and Polarin, an AI-ready, cloud-first NaaS platform designed to drive growth in APAC

Before Lightstorm, Amajit led Juniper Networks India and held key roles at Microsoft, Alcatel Lucent (Nokia), Motorola, and Tata Group. He played a pivotal role in India's first mobile network and helped shape Microsoft India's early cloud initiatives.

A recognized thought leader, Amajit has contributed to policy and technology advocacy and was named among India’s Top 10 IT & Telecom Technologists.
