Irshad Deen, is presently working in the capacity of Deputy Chief Officer, Innovation in Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel . He holds a MSc degree in Digital Communications from Loughborough University, UK and MBA from Postgraduate Institute of Management, Colombo, Sri Lanka. He has over 30 years of experience in the ICT and Info Communication sphere, having held various positions as an Engineer Manager in IT,BSS/OSS and Customer Service, IP/ISP Operations, IPTV, IP/MPLS and Access Network Operations, and Cloud development, and in the B2B space in SLTMobitel, as General Manager Enterprise Solutions,  Deputy Chief Enterprise Officer, Deputy Chief Digital Officer.

Presently he is leading Innovation and R&D, in SLTMobitel, developing Innovation and Entrepreneurship led programs, and further has avid interest in Network Transformation/Automation, AI/ML, Cloud Technologies.

He is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered IT Professional of IET (UK), and BCS (UK) respectively, and a Member of the aforesaid Institutes.
