James is the managing director for DC Byte’s APAC business. James manages the team of analysts and travels the region extensively conducting site visits and interviews with the key stakeholders across the industry. To date, James has visited over 500 facilities across the region. A regular on the speaking circuit, James has delivered thought leadership sessions for Capacity Media, Data Centre World and W Media all across the region. James’ industry commentary is often cited in data centre publications and press.

Prior to joining DC Byte, James worked with SpaceDC in a sales and corporate development role. This role put him in touch with the key hyperscale players as well as the investment community.

James holds an undergraduate degree in business and economics from Dublin University and holds two masters degrees. One from University College Dublin and the second awarded by University College Cork in conjunction with Nanyang Technological University. James is sports mad and clings to his youth by playing football.
