Pithambar (Preet) Gona is the Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific of STACK Infrastructure.

STACK Infrastructure is one of the largest private owners of data centers globally with a presence in 29 markets across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific. 

Preet founded the STACK Infrastructure business in Asia Pacific with assets and operations in Japan, Korea, Australia, and Singapore.  Preet was previously part of the founding team of Bridge Data Centres (merged with ChinData Holdings and subsequently listed on the Nasdaq NASDAQ: CD), and served as President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Investment Officer during his tenure.

Preet has over 20 years’ experience in digital infrastructure, technology, venture capital, investment banking, and private equity.

Prior to founding Bridge Data Centres, Preet was a Managing Director at Blackstone and responsible for the firm’s private equity operations in Southeast Asia. Before joining Blackstone in 2008, he worked as an Associate at Lehman Brothers in the Global Industrials Group in Hong Kong advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, debt, and equity financings. Before his work in finance, Preet advised companies on IT strategy and governance with the particular focus on cyber security. 

Preet serves as an adviser to start-ups and management teams in the region across the technology, media, and entertainment industries. He also serves on the advisory board for the Yellow Ribbon Fund in Singapore. He received a B.E. with distinction in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University in India, a Master’s in Manufacturing Management from the Pennsylvania State University, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
