Sr. Regional Director, Site Selection and Lease Execution, Asia Pacific Region. 11 years in Microsoft, started off as a Site Selection Project Manager and then Site Selection & Acquisition Manager, before taking the role of APAC lead since March 2019. Have been directly involved or leading the APAC team, growing Microsoft’s infrastructure/Data Center capacity in the APAC region from < 200MW to the rage of 1.8GW and growing
Prior to Microsoft, spent 5 years as part of the start up project team, building 3 solar plants in Singapore (Wafer, Cell and Module plants), with a Norwegian base company, REC Singapore. Roles/scope included Quality Manager, Head of Project Team and Performance Management
Started off career in the Semiconductor Industry, with Dallas Semiconductor in Dallas, Texas in 1998, a company that got acquired and became Maxim Integrated Products. Started as a Quality Engineer, before leaving the company after 10 years as a Senior Quality Engineer, relocating to Singapore
Graduate from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan with a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, April, 1998
Originates from Klang, Selangor, Malaysia, before moving to the US for university and working there, spending a total of 15 years in the US. Relocated to Singapore in July 2007 and now resides and a citizen of Singapore
